- Reset the Service Interval Indicator
- Check operation of all lights, warning indicators and horn
- Check operation front / rear wiper washer systems; check blades
- Check parking brake operation
- Replace pollen filter
- Check condition and security of seats and seat belts
- Check door locks, hood latch and fuel flap; lube door checks
- Check battery condition and top-up electrolyte if required
- Inspect serpentine drive belt
- Check and top-up brake, PAS and windshield washer fluid
- Check coolant level and freeze protection level
- Replace air-cleaner element
- Change engine oil and replace filter
- Remove road wheels
- Inspect for brake pad wear, caliper leaks and disk condition
- Check tire pressures are set to recommended levels
- Check tires for damage and tread depth
- Lubricate wheel centers.
- Install road wheels to opposite side of the vehicle - except uni-directional tires which install on same side
- Inspect for under vehicle fluid leaks
- Check exhaust system for leaks and damage
- Inspect steering ball joints for wear, damaged dust covers
- Inspect condition and operation of suspension and steering components, boots, ball joints and drive shafts.
- Check for suspension mounting rubber freeplay
- Inspect brake, fuel lines, PAS hoses and unions
- Inspect electrical harnesses for correct routing and damage
- Road test vehicle
- Record performance of Service in Passport to Service
- If fault lamps are lit use IDS to find the faults and report*
