Install Headlamp Assembly

1. Install the LH headlamp assembly.

A. Set the LH headlamp assembly to the body.




B. Position the headlamp protector as shown in the illustration.

HINT: Be sure to pass the protector under the main wire to maintain it as straight as possible.

C. Replace one of the 3 air cleaner case installation bolts with a new special one (P/N: 90119--06209) to secure the air cleaner case and the headlamp protector.

D. Secure the LH headlamp assembly with the bolt and 2 nuts.

E. Connect the headlamp connectors.




2. Install the air cleaner assembly.

A. Install the air cleaner filter element.

B. Install the air cleaner cap and then hang the 2 hook clamps.

C. Connect the air cleaner hose No. 1 to the air cleaner case with the clamp bolt.

D. Connect the mass air flow meter connector.




3. Install the RH headlamp assembly.

A. Set the RH headlamp assembly to the body.

B. Position the headlamp protector as shown in the illustration and secure it to the ABS actuator bracket with a NEW bolt (P/N: 90119--08A61).

NOTE: Be sure to keep the direction of the protector's lug as shown in the illustration at the time of tightening.

C. Secure the RH headlamp assembly with the bolt and 2 nuts.

D. Connect the headlamp connectors.




4. Install the power steering pipe brackets. Install the power steering
pipe bracket to the body with the 2 bolts.




5. Install the lower grille with the 7 screws.


6. Install the front fender liner.

7. Install the battery and battery tray.

8. Verify headlamps are aimed correctly.
