Introduction

On all 2004 model year LX 470 vehicles utilizing the A750F automatic transmission, a new Automatic Transmission Fluid (WS) will be used. The new transmission assembly and ATF WS are produced as a completely sealed unit. Therefore, periodic ATF level inspections including Pre-Delivery Service Inspection (PDS) are no longer required. The automatic transmission dipstick is eliminated on this transmission assembly. Please continue to inspect for any fluid leaks during PDS.

NOTE:
Do NOT attempt to check Automatic Transmission Fluid level in this vehicle.
