Introduction
To give customers a more consistent ride height and ride comfort, the front and rear height sensors have been improved.
Applicable Vehicles:
^ 2004 - 2006 model year LX 470 vehicles produced BEFORE the Production Change Effective VIN shown below.

Applicable Warranty:
This repair is covered under the Lexus Comprehensive Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 48 months or 50,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle's in-service date.
* Warranty application is limited to correction of a problem based upon a customer's specific complaint.
Parts Information
Parts Identification
Countermeasure service parts can be identified by the letter "G" printed on the Parts Identification Number Label and by the 4-digit date code on the plastic cover of the height sensor. The date code on the plastic cover of the height sensor should be equal to or greater than 5F08.
Repair Procedure
1. Confirm customer condition.
2. Remove and replace both front and rear height sensors. Refer to the Technical Information System (TIS): 2004, 2005, or 2006 model year LX470 Repair Manual: Suspension and Axle: Height Control Sensor.
3. Road test the vehicle to confirm repair.
