Introduction





Some customers may not be able to adjust the position of their roof rack cross bars on the 2004 model year RX 330 vehicles. The release lever has been changed to a more robust design. Please replace with the updated part number below to correct this condition.

Applicable Vehicles

^ 2004 model year RX 330 vehicles.





Parts Information

Repair Procedure

1. Grab from the sides and lift up from the center to remove the rear roof rack end caps. Unscrew and remove the retaining screw on each rail.

2. Remove the affected roof rack through the back of the rails.

3. Install the new cross bars facing the correct direction and reassemble end caps.

Applicable Warranty *:

This repair is covered under the Lexus Comprehensive Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 48 months or 50,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle's in-service date.
