Some 2004 model year RX 330 vehicles may exhibit a creak or knock noise, from the front of the vehicle, while driving over small bumps, turning the wheels, or coming to a stop. The front coil spring may be contacting the suspension upper support. The front coil spring upper insulator has been changed to improve this condition.

Replace the front coil spring upper insulator, on both front strut assemblies, by following the method in the 2004 RX 330 Repair Manual on ETAS.
