POWER WINDOW "AUTO" FEATURE MALFUNCTION

Some customers with 2004 RX 330 vehicles may experience a condition in which, when using the "AUTO UP" function from any power window switch, the selected window will roll to the full up position and then roll back down halfway. An updated power window switch has been made available to address this condition.

APPLICABLE VEHICLES:
2004 model year RX 330 vehicles produced BEFORE the Production Change Effective VINs shown below.

REPAIR PROCEDURE:







1. Remove and replace the switch of the window that is exhibiting the condition.
2. Reinitialize the jam protection by using the door window switch to manually roll the window down halfway, then pulling up on the switch until the window closes and the "AUTO" illumination stops flashing (this could take up to 10 seconds).
3. Verify proper operation.
