TSB REVISION NOTICE:
December 06, 2004: Suspension Member Bracket Sub-assembly (P/N 51308-0E011) is not applicable to 4WD models.
- The Parts Information table has been updated.
- Repair Procedure Step 3 has been deleted.
The previous TSB should be discarded.
Some 2004 model year RX 330 vehicles may exhibit a drone noise and/or vibration under light acceleration between 1,400 - 2,100 RPM. The following procedure has been developed to improve this condition.
APPLICABLE VEHICLES:
- 2004 model year Japan Produced RX 330 vehicles produced WITHIN the Applicable Vehicle VIN Range shown below.

NOTE:
Prior to performing repairs, refer to the Production Change Information table and Parts Information table to determine which parts to install based on the VIN range your current vehicle VIN applies to.
1. Front Engine Mounting Insulator.
Install for vehicles in VIN Range B
A. Install the front engine mounting insulator.
Torque:
A: 87 N-m (887 kgf-cm, 64 ft-lbf)
B: 52 N-m (530 kgf-cm, 38 ft-lbf)
2. Surge Tank No. 2 Stay and Power Steering Pressure Feed Tube
Install for vehicles in VIN Range A, B.
A. Install the new surge tank No. 2 stay and power steering pressure feed tube.
Torque:
A: 8 N-m (80 kgf-cm, 5.6 ft-lbf)
B: 20 N-m (199 kgf-cm, 14 ft-lbf)
