Introduction
Some owners may experience a Lexus Link system error if the ignition switch is inadvertently stopped halfway between the ACC and ON position. If this error occurs, the Lexus Link system will announce: A Lexus Link system error has been detected." In addition, an automatic emergency call or service call may be sent to the Lexus Link call center. To address this issue, an additional wiring harness has been developed to prevent this from occurring.

This repair is covered under the Lexus Comprehensive Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 48 months or 50,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle's in-service date.
