Some 2004 RX 330 vehicles may exhibit a M.I.L. "ON" condition with DTC P0010 (Camshaft Position "A" Actuator Circuit Bank 1) or DTC P0020 (Camshaft Position "A" Actuator Circuit Bank 2) stored as a result of Engine Control Module or ECM (SAE term: Powertrain Control Module/PCM) manufacturing issues. Replacement of the ECM will correct this condition.

APPLICABLE VEHICLES:
- 2004 model year RX330 vehicles produced BEFORE the Production Change Effective VINs shown below.

REPAIR PROCEDURE:
1. Follow repair manual diagnostics for applicable DTC (P0010 or P0020). Refer to ETAS for the 2004 model year RX 330 Repair Manual:
Section: Diagnostics: SFI system:
Subsection: P0010 or P0020

2. If circuit tests OK per repair manual - replace the ECM.
