DTC B1653 SHORT IN KNEE SQUIB CIRCUIT (TO B+)

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION

DTC Detecting Condition:

The knee squib circuit consists of the airbag sensor assembly center and the instrument panel airbag assembly lower No.1.

The circuit instructs the SRS to deploy when deployment conditions are met.

DTC B1653/49 is recorded a when short to B+ is detected in the knee squib circuit.
