Tail Lamp: Testing and Inspection

INSPECT REAR COMBINATION LAMP ASSEMBLY LH
a. Connect the (+) lead from the voltmeter to terminal 1 and the (-) lead from the voltmeter to the terminal 2.
b. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table.







c. Disconnect the rear combination lamp assembly LH connector.
d. Connect the (+) lead from the ohmmeter to the terminal 1 and the (-) lead from the ohmmeter to the terminal 2.
e. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the chart.







INSPECT REAR COMBINATION LAMP ASSEMBLY RH
a. Connect the (+) lead from the voltmeter to terminal 1 and the (-) lead from the voltmeter to the terminal 2.
b. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table.







c. Disconnect the rear combination lamp assembly RH connector.
d. Connect the (+) lead from the ohmmeter to the terminal 1 and the (-) lead from the ohmmeter to the terminal 2.
e. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the chart.
