WINDSHIELD GLASS

ADJUSTMENT

1. ADJUST NIGHT VIEW CAMERA AIMING
a. Preparation
1. Prepare a thick white paper.





2. Prepare a screen for adjustment as shown in the illustration.

b. Place the vehicle in the following conditions.
1. The vehicle is parked on a level surface.
2. Tire inflation pressure is the specified value.
3. A driver is in the driver's seat and vehicle is in a state ready for driving (with a tank full).
4. Turn the height control switch to the normal position.
5. Check whether the vehicle height is correct..
6. The vehicle has been bounced several times.

c. Check the night view camera aiming.





1. Stand the paper perpendicular to the ground at the position 1 m (3.28 ft.) away from the front to bumper.
2. Place the paper so that it is parallel to the front of the vehicle.
3. Make sure that the center line of the paper is 95 mm (3.74 in.) to the right of the center line of the vehicle.

d. Check the image of the night view display.
1. Switch to Inspection Mode.
2. Check whether the image is displayed correctly on the night view display.





e. Adjust the night view camera.

HINT: There are approximately of toleration in each direction (horizontal, vertical and rotational).

1. Remove the nut and night view camera cover from the night view display.
2. Using a 5.5 mm socket driver or wrench, loosen the fixing screws.
3. Using a 5.5 mm socket driver or wrench, turn the adjusting screws to adjust the night view display screen's image so that it is correctly displayed.

HINT: When adjusting in all 3 directions, follow this order: right and left ("A"), up and down ("B"), and rotating ("C").

4. After the adjustment, using a 5.5 mm socket driver or wrench, tighten the fixing screws to fix the camera in place.








5. Install the nut and night view camera cover to the night view display.
