INTRODUCTION:
Some 2007 model year RX 350 vehicles may exhibit a squeal noise from the passenger's side engine compartment due to an abnormally high vacuum in the engine crankcase. This is caused by an obstructed PCV (positive crankcase ventilation) port in the air cleaner hose following the manufacturing process. Use the following repair procedure to address this concern.
APPLICABLE VEHICLES:
- 2007 model year RX 350 TMMC--built vehicles produced BEFORE the Production Change Effective VINs shown below.

Remove and replace the No. 1 Air Cleaner Hose.
