Introduction
Some 2007 model year RX 350 vehicles may exhibit a squeal noise from the passenger's side engine compartment due to an abnormally high vacuum in the engine crankcase. This is caused by an obstructed PCV (positive crankcase ventilation) port in the air cleaner hose following the manufacturing process. Use the following repair procedure to address this concern.

Repair Procedure
Remove and replace the No. 1 Air Cleaner Hose.
NOTE:
^ Arrow indicates the PCV port location on the No. 1 Air Cleaner Hose.
^ Confirm that the PCV port is OPEN on the NEW part.

This repair is covered under the Lexus Comprehensive Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 48 months or 50,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle's in-service date.
