DTC B1245 - Wiper ECU Communication Stop

DESCRIPTION
HINT: "Wiper ECU" refer to the windshield wiper ECU.
- This DTC is output when communication stops between the windshield wiper ECU and body ECU.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (COMMUNICATION LINE)




(a) Disconnect the W4, S28 ECU and B5 J/B connectors.
(b) Check the resistance between the wire harness side connectors.
Standard resistance:






NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER SOURCE)




(a) Disconnect the W5 ECU connector.
(b) Check the voltage between the wire harness side connector and body ground.
Standard voltage:






NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (GROUND)




(a) Check the resistance between the wire harness side connector and body ground.
Standard resistance:






NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- REPLACE WINDSHIELD WIPER ECU
