Installation Procedure

1. Loosen the adjustment knobs on each cross bar joint.

Do NOT remove the adjustment knobs completely.

2. Slide the cross bar ends into the grooves of the right and left roof rack rails with arrow on each cross bar facing forward.

The cross bars will create wind noise at highway speeds if they are installed backwards.

3. Align the ends of the front and rear cross bars with the paint marks on the roof rack rail as illustrated. Securely tighten the knobs.

4. Install the right and left stoppers into the roof rail as shown in the illustration.

NOTE

^ Install the stopper with Section A facing the inner side of the vehicle.

^ Install the stopper until Section C touches the roof rack rail and install it with Face B touching the leg.

5. Install the right and left rear roof rack leg covers in the following sequence (labeled in Figure 5).

A. Insert the tab at the front of the cover into the roof rack rail.

B. Place the cover on the leg and align the rear part of the cover.

Do NOT press down.

C. Press the cover claws facing the outside of the vehicle into place.

D. Press the cover claws facing the inside of the vehicle into place.

Do NOT press the claws facing the outside of the vehicle at the same time as pressing the claws facing the inside. The leg cover may be damaged.

6. Check that the covers are installed securely.
