Cylinder head set bolt outside thread diameter
Standard 10.85 to 11.00 mm (0.427 to 0.433 in.)
Minimum 10.6 mm (0.417 in.)
If the diameter is less than the minimum, replace the cylinder head bolt.

Cylinder Head Bolt Tightening Procedure









First pass 36 Nm (367 kgf-cm, 27 ft-lbf)





Second pass Tighten bolts 90° in sequence
Third pass Tighten bolts another 90° in sequence





Final pass: Tighten end bolts in sequence 21 Nm (214 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf)

Exhaust Manifold Nuts









First pass: Temporarily install manifold with 2 nuts labeled A and 8 new nuts
Second pass: Uniformly tighten nuts not labeled A 21 Nm (214 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf)
Final pass: Uniformly tighten nuts labeled A 10 Nm (102 kgf-cm, 7 ft-lbf)
