POWER OUTLETS (EXT): TOWING CONVERTER RELAY: ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

1. INSPECT TOWING CONVERTER RELAY

(a) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.





Standard Voltage:





(a) If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness or towing converter relay.

(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





(b) If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness or towing converter relay.

2. INSPECT TOWING CONVERTER RELAY (SUB BATT)

(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.





Standard Resistance:





(a) If the result is not as specified, replace the relay.

3. INSPECT TOWING CONVERTER RELAY (TOW TAIL)

(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.





Standard Resistance:





(a) If the result is not as specified, replace the relay.
