Removal

HEATING / AIR CONDITIONING: AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH Removal

2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

NOTICE:
* w/ Navigation System:
* After the engine switch is turned off, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
* When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.
3. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY RH Removal

4. REMOVE INNER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL BRACKET COVER RH Removal

5. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

6. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH Removal

7. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH Removal

8. REMOVE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY Removal

9. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL BOX DOOR KNOB Removal

10. REMOVE LOWER NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL Removal

11. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY





(a) Disconnect the connector.

(b) Remove the screw and amplifier.
