1. VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP

Standard voltage:

11 to 14 V

If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the battery before proceeding.

4. CHECK FOR DTC*

(a) Check for DTC's and note any codes that are output Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

(b) Clear the DTC's Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

(c) Recheck for DTC's Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes. Based on the DTC's output above, try to force output of the same CAN communication system DTC or occupant classification system DTC by simulating the symptoms indicated by the DTC.
