DESCRIPTION
This circuit sends the microphone signal from the map light assembly (telephone microphone assembly) to the radio receiver assembly.
It also supplies power source from the radio receiver assembly to the map light assembly (telephone microphone assembly).

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
PROCEDURE
1. INSPECT RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY
(a) Disconnect the radio receiver assembly connector.
(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

NG -- REPLACE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY - RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY)
(a) Disconnect the map light assembly and radio receiver assembly connectors.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:

NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. INSPECT MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY
(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:

NG -- REPLACE TELEPHONE MICROPHONE ASSEMBLY
OK -- Continue to next step.
4. INSPECT MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY
(a) Reconnect the radio receiver assembly and map light assembly connectors.
(b) Connect an oscilloscope to terminals T10-34 (MCO+) and T10-35 (MCO-) of the map light assembly connector.
(c) Check the waveform of the telephone microphone assembly using an oscilloscope.

5. REPLACE TELEPHONE MICROPHONE ASSEMBLY
