B2075 - Passenger Side Seat Belt Buckle Switch Circuit Malfunction

DESCRIPTION

The seat belt control ECU receives front seat buckle switch RH condition information from the occupant detection ECU through the CAN communication line and controls the pre-collision system.

This code is stored when a buckle switch malfunction signal is received from the occupant classification system.





INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK FOR DTC (OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM)

(a) Check for DTCs Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

OK:

Occupant classification system DTCs are not output.

NG -- GO TO OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM Occupant Classification System
OK -- Continue to next step.

2. CHECK FOR DTC (AIRBAG SYSTEM)

(a) Check for DTCs Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

OK:

Airbag system DTCs are not output.

NG -- GO TO AIRBAG SYSTEM Airbag System
OK -- Continue to next step.

3. CHECK FOR DTC

(a) Clear the DTCs Pre-Collision System.

(b) Check for DTCs Pre-Collision System.

OK:

DTC B2075 is not output.

NG -- REPLACE SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU Removal

OK -- USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK How To Proceed With Troubleshooting
