B2413 - Headlight Swivel Motor RH Malfunction
DESCRIPTION
Each swivel motor receives a signal from the headlight swivel ECU to operate and sends a signal indicating the direction of the headlight and condition of the headlight swivel motor to the headlight swivel ECU.

PROCEDURE
1. CHECK FOR DTC
(a) Clear the DTCs Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
(b) Check for DTCs Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
OK:
DTC B2412 or B2413 output does not occur.
NG -- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (SWIVEL MOTOR)
OK -- USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK How To Proceed With Troubleshooting
2. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (SWIVEL MOTOR)
(a) Using the Techstream, perform the Active Test Data List / Active Test.
AFS
*: Perform the Active Test with the engine running and the vehicle stopped.
OK:
Swivel motors operate normally.
NG -- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HEADLIGHT SWIVEL ECU ASSEMBLY - BATTERY)
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK HEADLIGHT REFLECTOR (SWIVEL MOTOR) (OPERATION)
(a) Temporarily replace the headlight reflector (swivel motor) with a new or normally functioning one Disassembly.
(b) Check for DTCs Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
OK:
DTC B2412 or B2413 output does not occur.
NG -- REPLACE HEADLIGHT SWIVEL ECU ASSEMBLY Removal
OK -- END (REPLACE HEADLIGHT REFLECTOR [SWIVEL MOTOR]) Disassembly
4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HEADLIGHT SWIVEL ECU ASSEMBLY - BATTERY)
(a) Disconnect the A46 headlight swivel ECU connector.
(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
5. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HEADLIGHT SWIVEL ECU ASSEMBLY - BODY GROUND)
(a) Disconnect the A46 headlight swivel ECU connector.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:

NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
6. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HEADLIGHT SWIVEL ECU ASSEMBLY - HEADLIGHT UNIT)
(a) Disconnect the A46 headlight swivel ECU connector.
(b) Disconnect the A49*1 or A50*2 headlight connector.
*1: for LH
*2: for RH
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
for LH
for RH
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
7. INSPECT HEADLIGHT UNIT
(a) Remove the headlight unit Disassembly.
(b) Disconnect the headlight reflector (swivel motor) connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
for LH
for RH
