This code is stored when any steering pad switch is continuously on for a period of 60 seconds.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM

(a) Operate the Techstream according to the display and select the Data List Scan Tool Testing and Procedures.

OK:

The value displayed on the Techstream changes with the actual steering pad switch operation.

NG -- INSPECT STEERING PAD SWITCH ASSEMBLY

OK -- REPLACE DRIVING SUPPORT SWITCH CONTROL ECU Removal

2. INSPECT STEERING PAD SWITCH ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the steering pad switch assembly Removal.

(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

NG -- REPLACE STEERING PAD SWITCH ASSEMBLY Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.

3. INSPECT HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SPIRAL CABLE - DRIVING SUPPORT SWITCH CONTROL ECU)

(a) Disconnect the G60 driving support switch control ECU connector.

(b) Disconnect the G28 spiral cable connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

4. INSPECT SPIRAL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Set the spiral cable to the center position Testing and Inspection.





(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
