NOTICE:
When replacing the parking assist ECU, perform initialization of the front television camera.

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK FOR DTC

(a) Clear the DTCs Wide View Front Monitor System.

(b) Check for DTCs Wide View Front Monitor System.

2. CHECK PARKING ASSIST ECU

(a) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

3. CHECK FRONT TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY

(a) Using an oscilloscope, check the waveform.

NG -- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (PARKING ASSIST ECU - FRONT TELEVISION CAMERA)

OK -- REPLACE PARKING ASSIST ECU Removal

4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (PARKING ASSIST ECU - FRONT TELEVISION CAMERA)

(a) Disconnect the I2 parking assist ECU connector.

(b) Disconnect the A41 front television camera assembly connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

5. REPLACE FRONT TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY

(a) Replace front television camera assembly with a new or normally functioning one Removal.

NEXT -- Continue to next step.

6. CHECK FOR DTC

(a) Clear the DTCs Wide View Front Monitor System.

(b) Check for DTCs Wide View Front Monitor System.
