P1575 - Warning Buzzer Malfunction
DESCRIPTION
When the skid control ECU detects a malfunction in the skid control buzzer circuit, a malfunction signal is sent to the ECM and a DTC is stored.
INSPECTION PROCEDURE
NOTICE:
When the ECM is replaced with a new one, initialization must be performed Programming and Relearning.
PROCEDURE
1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (SKID CONTROL BUZZER)
(a) Select the item below in the Active Test, and then check that the skid control buzzer sounds Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System.
ABS/VSC/TRAC
OK:
Skid control buzzer sounds.
NG -- GO TO VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM Problem Symptoms Table
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK FOR DTC
(a) Clear the DTCs Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System.
(b) Perform the following to make sure the DTC detection conditions are met.
HINT
If the detection conditions are not met, the system cannot detect the malfunction.
(1) Drive the vehicle at a speed of 50 km/h (30 mph) or more.
(2) Turn the cruise control switch on.
(c) Check for DTCs Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System.
OK:
DTC P1575 is not output.
NG -- REPLACE ECM Removal
OK -- USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK How To Proceed With Troubleshooting
