POWER OUTLETS (EXT): TOWING CONVERTER SYSTEM: OPERATION CHECK

1. OPERATION CHECK

(a) Turn the engine switch off.

(b) Connect the trailer connector to the vehicle.

(c) Check that the stop lights on the vehicle and trailer come on when depressing the brake pedal.

(d) Check that the taillights on the vehicle and trailer come on when turning on the taillights.

(e) Check that the hazard warning lights on the vehicle and trailer come on when turning on the hazard warning switch.

(f) Turn the engine switch on (IG).

(g) Check that the turn indicator lights on the vehicle and trailer come on when turning on the turn indicator lights.

HINT
When the automatic current cut function activates, reset the towing converter system by turning the turn signal switch, brake pedal, hazard warning switch, and light control switch off then on.
