Removal and Installation

REMOVAL OF REAR BUMPER

1. REMOVE FOLLOWING PARTS,
(a) Floor mat
(b) Door striker cover
(c) Trim rear cover
(d) Trim front cover
(e) LH side cover
(f) RH side cover





2. REMOVE CD AUTO CHANGER
Remove the changer with the four bolts.

3. REMOVE BUMPER





(a) Remove three bolts, two nuts and retainer from the compartment.





(b) Remove the screw, nut and two clips from the rear wheel housing.





(c) Remove six nuts and four bolts.





(d) Release the join at both sides of the vehicle and pull out the bumper backward to remove it.

HINT: When pulling off the bumper, be careful not to damage the thread of the side bolts.

INSTALLATION OF REAR BUMPER
Install rear bumper parts by following removal sequence in reverse.

HINT:
- During installation, be careful not to damage the thread of each bolt.
- When installing the rear bumper clips, place the retainer in the hole, then push in the head of the clip to install it.
