DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

NOTE: If dIagnostic Trouble Codes "P0115" (engine coolant temperature circuit malfunction) and "P0116" (engine coolant temperature circuit range/performance) are output simultaneously, Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor circuit may be open.
Perform troubleshooting of Diagnostic Trouble Code P0115 first.

1. Are there any other codes (besides Data Trouble Code P0116) being output?
- If YES go to relevant Diagnostic Trouble Code chart.
- If NO replace Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor.
