Diagnostic Procedure

DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE





1. Are there any other codes (besides DTC P0136) being output?
- If NO proceed to step 2.
- If YES go to relevant Diagnostic Trouble Code chart.
2. Check for open and short in harness and connector between Engine Control Module and Heated Oxygen Sensor.
- If OK proceed to step 3.
- If not OK repair or replace harness or connector.
3. Check the output voltage of the Heated Oxygen Sensor.
- If OK check that each connector is properly connected.
- If not OK replace Heated Oxygen Sensor.
