SYSTEM: Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinder 5

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
The Injectors are located in the intake manifold. They inject fuel into the cylinders based on signals from the Engine Control Module.
The Engine Control Module detects a malfunction of the Injector circuit by counting the number of misfires of a specific cylinder.

DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE DETECTING CONDITION
- A specified cylinder misfire continuously (2 trip detection logic).

TROUBLE AREA
- Open or short in Injector circuit.
- Injector blockage, seized.
- Ignition system.
- Valve clearance not to specification.
- Compression pressure.
