Inspection Procedure Using OBDII Scan Tool
INSPECTION PROCEDURE USING OBDII SCAN TOOLNOTE: If Diagnostic Trouble Codes P0110, P0115 and P0120 are output simultaneously, E2 (sensor ground) may be open.
1. Check for open in harness or Engine Control Module.
- Disconnect the Throttle Position Sensor connector.
- Turn Ignition Switch ON.
- Measure voltage between terminals 1 and 2 of Throttle Position Sensor connector.
Voltage: 9 - 14 volts
- If not OK proceed to step 2.
- If OK confirm good connection at sensor. if OK, replace Throttle Position Sensor.
2. Check for open in harness and connector between Throttle Position Sensor and Engine Control Module.
- If OK confirm connection at Engine Control Module. If OK, replace Engine Control Module.
- If not OK open in harness between Engine Control Module and Throttle Position Sensor
