CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
The vehicle speed sensor outputs a 4-pulse signal for every revolution of the transaxle differential. After this signal has been converted into a more precise rectangular wave form by the wave form shaping circuit inside the combination meter, it is then transmitted to the Engine Control Module (ECM).




DETECTING CONDITION




REFERENCE
- Waveform between terminals SP1 and E1 when vehicle speed is approx. 20km/h (12 MPH).

HINT: The greater the vehicle speed, the greater the number of VSS signals produced.
