Installation

PROCEDURE

1. Install Throttle Body.





- Place a new gasket on the air intake chamber.





- Install the throttle body and Exhaust Gas Recirculation Gas Temperature Sensor bracket with the 2 bolts and 2 nuts.

Torque: 19.5 N.m (14 ft lb)

- Connect the following hoses:





Water bypass hose (from intake manifold). (1)
Water bypass hose (from water inlet housing). (2)
Air assist hose. (3)

- Connect the following vacuum hoses and connectors:





Vacuum hose (from charcoal canister). (1)
Vacuum hose (from port R of Exhaust Gas Recirculation Vacuum Modulator). (2)
Vacuum hose (from port R of Exhaust Gas Recirculation Vacuum Modulator). (3)
Vacuum hose (from upper port of Thermal Vacuum Valve). (4)
Vacuum hose (from lower port of Thermal Vacuum Valve). (5)
Install the hose clamp. (e)
Connect the Idle Air Control Valve Connector. (f)
Connect the Throttle Position Sensor connector. (g)





2. Install Air Cleaner Hose.
- Install the air cleaner hose with the 2 hose clamps.
- Connect the Positive Crankcase Ventilation hose.





3. Connect throttle cable.
4. Connect accelerator cable.
5. Fill engine with coolant.

Capacity: 8.7 liters (9.2 US qts)

6. Connect Negative (-) Terminal Cable To Battery.
