Fluid Level Check

1. Place vehicle on a level surface.
2. With engine running at 1000 RPM or less, turn steering wheel from stop to stop several times.
3. Ensure fluid temperature is 176°F. If not, turn steering wheel until fluid is 176°F.
4. Stop engine, then check fluid for foaming. Foaming is usually caused by air trapped in system or low fluid level.
5. Check and adjust fluid level as needed.
