Title: A540E ATM SECONDARY REGULATOR VALVE MODIFICATIONS





To improve torque converter lockup characteristics during deceleration or coming to a stop, the following change has been made:
Internal orifice diameter of the secondary regulator valve has been reduced from 2.8 mm to 2.0 mm.

To repair affected transaxles, the secondary regulator valve is available as a kit (P/N 04354-32010) which includes parts shown in the image chart.
