Brake Proportioning/Combination Valve: Testing and Inspection

Fluid Pressure Inspection Of Proportioning And By-Pass Valve (P & B Valve):

FLUID PRESSURE INSPECTION
1. Install LSPV gauge, special service tool (SST) # 09709-29017, and bleed air.
2. Bleed air from fluid pressure gauge.

Master Cylinder And Rear Brake Caliper Pressure Chart:

3. Raise Master Cylinder pressure and check rear Caliper pressure.
If the Rear Brake pressure is incorrect, replace the Master Cylinder.
4. Bleed brake system. Service and Repair
5. Check for leaks.
