Crankshaft Gear/Sprocket: Service and Repair






REMOVAL
1. Remove the Timing Belt, refer to Timing Components.
2. Remove the bolt and timing belt plate.
3. Remove the crankshaft timing pulley.






NOTE: If the pulley cannot be removed by hand, use a suitable puller set to remove the crankshaft timing pulley.

NOTE: Do not scratch the sensor wheel part the crankshaft timing pulley.

INSTALLATION






1. Align the pulley set key with the key groove of the pulley.
2. Slide on the timing pulley facing the flange side inward.

NOTE: Do not scratch the sensor part of the crankshaft timing pulley.






3. Install the timing belt plate with the bolt, tighten to 7.8 Nm (80 kg.cm, 69 in.lb).
4. Install the timing belt plate and the remaining timing belt components.
