Tires: Testing and Inspection
INSPECTION1. Inspect the tire, doing the following.
a. Check the tires for wear and for the proper inflation pressure.
Tire Size: P215/60 R16 94V
Inflation Pressure (Front,Rear) [1]: 210 kPa (30 psi).
Inflation Pressure (Front,Rear) [2]: 300 kPa (44 psi).
Tire Size: P255/55 R16 94V
Inflation Pressure (Front,Rear) [1]: 220 kPa (32 psi).
Inflation Pressure (Front,Rear) [2]: 300 kPa (44 psi).
b. Check the tire runout, it should measure 1.4 mm (0.055 inch) or less.
c. Rotate the tires.
NOTE: See the illustration for where to rotate each tire.
[1]: For driving under 160km/h (100 mph).
[2]: For driving at 160km/h (100 mph) or over.
