Radiator Cooling Fan Temperature Sensor / Switch: Service and Repair

The Fan Switch Is In The Bottom Of The Radiator:

REMOVAL
1. Remove engine under cover.
2. Drain engine coolant.
3. Disconnect the ECT switch connector.
4. Remove the ECT switch.
5. Remove the O-ring the ECT switch.

INSTALLATION
1. Install a new O-ring to the ECT switch.
2. Apply soapy water on the O-ring.
3. Install the ECT switch, tighten to 7.4 Nm (75 kg.cm 65 in.lb).
4. Connect the ECT switch connector.
5. Refill engine with suitable coolant.
6. Start engine and check for leaks.
7. Install engine under cover.
