Refrigerant Pressure Sensor / Switch: Service and Repair
PRESSURE SWITCH REMOVAL1. DISCHARGE REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM
INSTALLATION HINT: Evacuate air from the refrigeration system.
Charge system with refrigerant and inspect for leakage of refrigerant.
Specified amount:
850 ± 50 g (29.98 ± 1.76 oz.)
2. REMOVE PRESSURE SWITCH
(a) Disconnect the connector.
(b) Remove the pressure switch from the liquid tube.
Torque: 10 N.m (100 kgf.cm, 7 ft.lbf)
INSTALLATION HINT: Lubricate a new O-ring with compressor oil and install the tube.
HINT: Lock the pressure switch mount on the tube with an open end a wrench, being careful not to deform the tube, and remove the switch.

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
