Wiper Switch: Testing and Inspection

COMBINATION SWITCH INSPECTION








1. INSPECT WIPER AND WASHER SWITCH CONTINUITY
If continuity is not as specified. replace the switch.





2. FULLY - CONCEALED / SEMI - CONCEALED CHANGER SWITCH CONTINUITY
If continuity is not as specified. replace the switch.





3. INSPECT WIPER SWITCH RESISTANCE
If resistance value is not as specified. replace the switch.








4. INSPECT SWITCH CIRCUIT
Disconnect the switch and wiper relay connector, inspect the each connector on the wire harness side, as shown.
If circuit is not as specified, inspect wire harness or power source.
