Removal and Installation

NOTE: Before changing the starter, check the following items again:
^ Connector connection
^ Accessory installation, e.g.: theft deterrent system





COMPONENTS FOR REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

STARTER REMOVAL





1. DISCONNECT FUEL TUBES AND HOSE
Remove the nut and bolt, and disconnect the fuel hose and 2 fuel tubes from the body.

2. REMOVE STARTER





(a) Remove the rubber cap and nut, and disconnect the starter wire.
(b) Disconnect the starter connector.





(c) Remove the engine wire clamp with the 2 bolts and starter.
Torque: 39 N.m (400 kgf.cm, 29 ft.lbf)

STARTER INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
