PPS ECU Inspection

1. Jack up the vehicle and support it on stands.
2. Start the engine.
3. Measure the voltage of the ECU doing the following.





a. Using a voltmeter, measure the voltage between ECU terminals SOL (-) and GND while the engine is idling. The standard voltage should be 0.33 - 0.43 V.





b. Place the transmission in gear and while running at about 37 mph (60 km/h), measure the voltage between ECU terminals SOL (-) and GND. The standard voltage should be 0.07 - 0.30 V. If no voltage, try another ECU for the LEXUS GS300.

4. Lower the vehicle.
