ELECTROCHROMIC OUTER MIRROR INSPECTION

INSPECT MIRROR OPERATION





w/o Driving position memory
a. Disconnect the outer mirror connector.
b. Connect the positive (+) lead from the dry through battery to terminal 2 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 1, then check that the mirror surface become dark.
c. Reconnect to the dry through battery by the reverse order, then check that the mirror surface become bright".
If operation is not as specified, replace the mirror assembly.





w/ Driving position memory
a. Disconnect the outer mirror connector.
b. Connect the positive (+) lead from the dry through battery to terminal 5 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 4, then check that the mirror surface become "dark".
c. Reconnect to the dry through battery by the reverse order, then check that the mirror surface become bright".
If operation is not as specified, replace the mirror assembly.
