Fuel Gauge Sender: Testing and Inspection

INSPECT FUEL MAIN SENDER GAUGE VOLTAGE
a. Apply voltage between terminals 2 and 3.
b. Measure the voltage between terminals 1 and 3 for each float position.
If resistance value is not as specified, replace the main sender gauge.







INSPECT FUEL SUB SENDER GAUGE VOLTAGE
a. Apply voltage between terminals 1 and 3.
b. Measure the voltage between terminals 1 and 2 for each float position.
If resistance value is not as specified, replace the sub sender gauge.
