REMOVAL
1. REMOVE REAR WHEEL
Torque: 103 Nm (1,050 kgf-cm, 76 ft. lbs.)
2. REMOVE NO. 1 LOWER SUSPENSION ARM
a. Remove the nut and bolt on body side of No. 1 lower suspension arm.
Torque: 90 Nm (910 kgf-cm, 66 ft. lbs.)
b. Remove the nut on axle carrier side of No. 1 lower suspension arm.
Torque: 70 Nm (720 kgf-cm, 52 ft. lbs.)
c. Using SST, remove the No. 1 lower suspension arm.

3. REMOVE NO. 2 LOWER SUSPENSION ARM
a. Place matchmarks on the link and bracket, remove the nut and disconnect the height control sensor link from the No. 2 lower suspension arm.
Torque: 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 inch lbs.)
b. Remove the nut and disconnect the stabilizer bar link.
Torque: 65 Nm (660 kgf-cm, 48 ft. lbs.)
c. Remove the nut and bolt on body side of No. 2 lower suspension arm.
Torque: 90 Nm (910 kgf-cm, 66 ft. lbs.)
d. Remove the nut on axle carrier side of No. 2 lower suspension arm.
Torque: 70 Nm (720 kgf-cm, 52 ft. lbs.)
e. Using SST, remove the No.2 lower suspension arm.

INSPECTION
INSPECT NO. 1 AND NO. 2 LOWER SUSPENSION ARM BALL JOINT FOR ROTATION CONDITION
a. Flip the ball joint stud back and 4 - 5 times, before installing the nut.
b. Using a torque wrench, turn the nut continuously one turn every 2 - 4 seconds and take the torque reading on the 5th turn.
Turning torque: 0.5 - 3.4 Nm (5.0 - 35 kgf-cm, 4.4 - 30 inch lbs.)
INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
HINT: After installation, check the speed sensor signal, and rear wheel alignment.
