Transmission Valve Body

OVERHAUL





1. REMOVE TRANSMISSION VALVE BODY ASSY
a. Remove the 20 bolts.
b. Remove the valve body assy.





2. REMOVE SHIFT SOLENOID VALVE NO. 1
a. Remove the bolt and shift solenoid valve No. 1.





3. REMOVE SHIFT SOLENOID VALVE No. 3
a. Remove the bolt and shift solenoid valve No. 3.





4. REMOVE SHIFT SOLENOID VALVE SLN
a. Remove the bolt and lock plate.
b. Remove the shift solenoid valve SLN.





5. REMOVE SHIFT SOLENOID VALVE SLU
a. Remove the bolt and lock plate.
b. Remove the shift solenoid valve SLU.





6. REMOVE SHIFT SOLENOID VALVE SLT
a. Remove the shift solenoid valve SLT.





7. REMOVE SHIFT SOLENOID VALVE NO.2
a. Remove the bolt and shift solenoid valve No. 2.
b. Remove the O-ring from the shift solenoid valve No. 2.





8. REMOVE SHIFT SOLENOID VALVE NO.4
a. Remove the bolt and shift solenoid valve No. 4.
b. Remove the O-ring from the shift solenoid valve No. 4.





9. INSTALL SHIFT SOLENOID VALVE NO.4
a. Install the O-ring to the shift solenoid valve No. 4
b. Install the bolt and shift solenoid valve No. 4.
Torque: 9.8 Nm (100 kgf-cm, 7 ft. lbs.)





10. INSTALL SHIFT SOLENOID VALVE NO.2
a. Install the O-ring to the shift solenoid valve No. 2.
b. Install the bolt and shift solenoid valve No. 2.
Torque: 9.8 Nm (100 kgf-cm, 7 ft. lbs.)





11. INSTALL SHIFT SOLENOID VALVE SLT
a. Install the shift solenoid valve SLT.





12. INSTALL SHIFT SOLENOID VALVE SLU
a. Install the shift solenoid valve SLU.
b. Install the bolt and lock plate.
Torque: 9.8 Nm (100 kgf-cm, 7 ft. lbs.)





13. INSTALL SHIFT SOLENOID VALVE SLN
a. Install the shift solenoid valve SLN.
b. Install the bolt and lock plate.
Torque: 9.8 Nm (100 kgf-cm, 7 ft. lbs.)





14. INSTALL SHIFT SOLENOID VALVE No. 3
a. Install the bolt and shift solenoid valve No. 3.
Torque: 6.4 Nm (65 kgf-cm, 56 inch lbs.)





15. INSTALL SHIFT SOLENOID VALVE No. 1
a. Install the bolt and shift solenoid valve No. 1.
Torque: 6.4 Nm (65 kgf-cm, 56 inch lbs.)
16. INSTALL TRANSMISSION VALVE BODY ASSY





a. Align the groove of the manual valve with the pin of the lever.





b. Install the 20 bolts.
Torque: 9.8 Nm (100 kgf-cm, 7 ft. lbs.)

HINT: Each bolt length is indicated.

Bolt length:
Bolt A: 23 mm (0.866 inch)
Bolt B: 28 mm (1.102 inch)
Bolt C: 36 mm (1.417 inch)
Bolt D: 55 mm (2.165 inch)
