Replacement

REPLACEMENT

HINT: Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

1. PRECAUTION
2. DISCONNECT BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL
3. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY NO.2
4. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY RH
5. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT PLATE
6. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT HOLE COVER
7. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY W/INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY LOWER NO.2




8. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL AIR BAG ASSEMBLY LOWER NO.2
a. Remove the 2 bolts and the 2 screws.
b. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the instrument panel airbag assembly lower No.2.

9. INSPECT INSTRUMENT PANEL AIR BAG ASSEMBLY LOWER NO.2

10. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL AIR BAG ASSEMBLY LOWER NO.2
a. Engage the 2 claws and install the instrument panel airbag assembly lower No.2.
b. Install the instrument panel airbag assembly lower No.2 with the 2 bolts and the 2 screws.

11. CONNECT BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL






NOTE: When disconnecting the negative (-) battery terminal, initialize the system shown in the table after the terminal is reconnected.

12. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT
